02 Monument to the death of corporate greed
by Shiela R Castillo
In 2026, after Australia banned social media for young people, there was a momentum on fighting against the use of technology for corporate greed. Young people won against Instagram and YouTube on social media addiction. With the Palantir work with US and Israel on targeted attacks on Gaza and Iran exposed, movements of youth and anti-AI warfare came together and pushed governments and corporations for ethical action. This artwork was created in 2027 as a vision for these movements. In 2030, Palantir folded up, new ethical social media platforms were established, and technology use for corporate greed died.

This is my wish for humanity that the wisdom of humans the earth and technology all find balance and synergy to strengthen all 3 and allow to continue to explore beyond the stars .

07 Regeneration
by Nedra
My vision for year 2100 is a planet earth that is teeming with life, where species live and thrive together in harmony. I envision a green and blue planet where humans have recognised our impact on the planet and remembered our interconnectedness. The rosemary and pine represent the plant kingdom. The seashell represents ocean lives. The praying mantis represents prayer and wisdom and the golden green glass with the infinity symbol represents regeneration.

by Katherine Maggs
Acceptance of the human animals need to progress laced with belief in natures resilience to ability to adapt, transform and survive, despite ego. In parallel hope in the human animal's ability to use nature as a mirror to learn.

12 Flow and Connection
by Vicki Webster
With the risk to human agency through technology. AI and quantum physics, the artist returned to their childhood, remembering playing in a state of flow and connecting with friends and family over a cup of tea. These practices and social mores remain resistant to the urge today to be efficient and busy.

14 Argg did it grow again since last year
by Thomas Bierderman
"The last seed of the Acacia kingiana, thought to be Extinct, was put on display in the Oceania Museum of Natural History, as a warning of the dangers of biodiversity loss. In 2029, a prolonged failure of the HVAC system (due to ChatGPT 52 electricity usage spiking to 72% of the world production in the great viral cat meme wave) led to the seed germinating. The Acacia has been growing since then, posing interesting questions about heritage, authorship, serendipity, resilience and curation."

24 I know you can do it
by Sienna Aguilar
"This piece explores the relationship between individual and collective agency and efficacy, to create a future where everyone feels seen, loved, heard and understood. Playing with texture, light and shade, the mini-collection of a marble and wire with cherries symbolise the goodness and fruits on Earth, wrapped in a golden paper blanket and ‘container’ holding these gifts as sacred. Behind the white clouds peppered with fingerprint markings is a yellow card taken from a well-known stationery brand from the 2020s, symbolising the sunlight that can bathe people when they feel supported and energised to act. A pivotal moment in the artist’s life led to this artwork being created: in 2026 while she was transitioning out of not-for-profit work and creating her own business to support changemakers, she attended the Albania Futures and Foresight Symposium. This artwork influenced her approach to business, which centred sense-making, and supported changemakers of all ages to strengthen skills to face uncertainty with values based action."

37 Breaking on through to the other side
by Willow Pryor
This artwork explores the ruptures in the fabric of connection that happened during 2020-203. A time when many started to stretch the fabric open to explore the spaces in between the heartbeat of the planetary consciousness, ways of being & culture. It explores the ruptures and tears that also happened during this time allowing the more than human to have more breathing space and voice in the global narrative.
